An extensive kitchen remodel with an added laundry and mudroom provided a modern refresh for this 1929 bungalow in East Asheville. Left unattended for a couple of years, this residence needed several practical mechanical, electrical, and building envelope upgrades as well as updates to the main living and dining spaces. And as with many a labor of love, the client’s renovations are ongoing.
